History

Lawtronic was founded in 1986 for the manufacture and commissioning of electrical control panels. To enable Lawtronic to achieve a steady growth we have always invested heavily in training through, not only our modern apprenticeship scheme, but also with the training and implementation of the latest management systems. It is this commitment that has helped Lawtronic achieve its quality and success.

The quality policies and training schemes operated by Lawtronic have been acknowledged by being awarded the ISO 9001 Quality System Standard and also the Investors in People Award.

Company Philosophy

The slogan "Look Before You Leap" was created for Lawtronic because we pride ourselves on careful and meticulous preparation for projects in order to ensure customer satisfaction. Because our industry is very competitive it is very important to understand the customer’s requirements. This will ensure the customer will end up with a system which fulfils their requirements. This is why we advise to "Look Before You Leap" in order to ensure that a tender really does meet the requirements of the application. It can be quite costly and frustrating to have to modify a system to suit the requirements, particularly if the shortfall is not discovered until the installation or commissioning stage of a project.

We will as a company make every effort to ensure that we interpret and accommodate the customer’s needs and achieve a "Right First Time" policy. Careful consideration and preparation will always produce good results.

Exports - An International Reputation For Excellence

Lawtronic has gained a good reputation in carrying out overseas projects. We have successfully carried out a number of major projects in a number of countries all over the world including Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Ukraine and Jamaica as well as some smaller contracts in Canada, Ireland, Denmark and Italy.

Some of these projects have had to be planned and organised to the finest detail, as there has not been any back up or support within the countries concerned and the installation has been in conjunction with local labour.

Dealing with overseas contracts has also given us the knowledge and experience for dealing with foreign banks and shipment for large quantities of goods to overseas destinations.

Benchmarking

Benchmarking has always been a way of comparing yourself in the market place. It is always interesting to see how others judge you. Recently we have finished in the final six for “East Anglia Business of the Year”, were winners of the “King’s Lynn Mayors Award” for staff development and training, and won the small business category of “Panel Builder of the Year” which is organized by Panel Building magazine.
