Due to continued success and year on year growth there is an opportunity for 2 talented Control Systems Apprentices to join our business and assist in our drive forward.
We are looking for enthusiastic, practical and ambitious individuals to join our successful Control Systems company and to complete the Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship Standard.
Both GCSE and A level students are welcome!
Highlights :
Day release to College of West Anglia, Kings Lynn Campus to complete the Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship Standard
Full and appropriate Health and Safety training to include risk assessment and method statements
On the Job training and full rotation of the business over the term of the apprenticeship to identify what you enjoying doing the most to kickstart your career
Further Education options once you have completed the apprenticeship

Responsibilities
What your Apprenticeship at Lawtronic will involve :
Year 1 :
Completing first year of Level 3 BTEC to the best of your ability
Learning how to :
Perform all tasks with Health and Safety being No.1 Priority
Manufacture cable assemblies & harness’s
How to assemble small control panels to the highest quality
Inspect parts to ensure they are fault free prior to assembly
Use relevant hand and power tools as well as factory machinery
How to read and understand engineering drawings both mechanical and electrical
Year 2 :
Completing the second year of Level 3 BTEC to the best of your ability
Become more accustomed to the components being used and what their functions are
Assemble more complex control panels
Start your rotation of the various departments such as stores, small assemblies, test and inspection and what each one entails
Year 3 :
Start manufacturing the most complex and bespoke control panels
Gain exposure to site-work out in the field
Continue your rotation to different departments such as installation, design and project management to see which one you excel at / enjoy the most
Finish your Apprenticeship!
